These Terms of Use govern your use of SpamJam ("the App"), operated by Millenica LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using SpamJam, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

SpamJam is an on-device SMS spam filter for iOS. It uses a local machine learning model to classify messages from unknown senders and filter likely spam into your Junk folder. SpamJam does not guarantee that all spam will be blocked or that no legitimate messages will be filtered. You are responsible for periodically checking your Junk folder for any messages that may have been incorrectly filtered.

2. Subscription

SpamJam requires a paid subscription to function. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. You may choose a monthly or annual plan, each with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store settings on your device.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the spam classification model or any part of the App.

4. Disclaimers

SpamJam is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

SpamJam is a filtering aid, not a guaranteed message delivery service. The App uses machine learning to classify messages, and all automated classification systems make errors. Legitimate messages may occasionally be routed to your Junk folder, and some spam messages may reach your inbox. We strongly recommend periodically checking your Junk folder to ensure no important messages have been filtered.

We make no warranty that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You assume all risk arising from your use of the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SpamJam, its owners, employees, or affiliates be liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
• Damages resulting from a message being incorrectly classified as spam, including any missed communications, missed appointments, financial loss, or other harm arising from a message being routed to your Junk folder;
• Damages resulting from spam messages that are not caught by the filter.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are sought, even if SpamJam has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential damages, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
